This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable Canadian and international privacy standards.

“Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual. This includes Name, Email address, Phone number, Business/billing information, and IP address. Business contact information used solely for business communications is not considered Personal Information under PIPEDA.

We collect personal information for the following "Identified Purposes":

• To provide, maintain, and support our telecom and PBX services.
• To verify identity and process payments.
• To communicate updates or alerts via email or SMS (only where explicit consent is provided).
• Non-Sharing Guarantee: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We collect information only with your:

• Express Consent: Specifically for SMS communications, where you must "opt-in" via a form or keyword.
• Implied Consent: For standard service delivery and technical support. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting support@mkn-group.com or replying "STOP" to any SMS.

5.1 Third-Party Service ProvidersWe share information with trusted partners (Cloud hosting, payment processors) strictly for service delivery. These providers are contractually barred from using your data for their own marketing.

5.2 SMS Data Privacy Notwithstanding any other section of this policy, text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for any reason, except as required by law or to the specific service providers necessary to deliver the text messaging service.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption, firewalls, and access controls) to protect your information.

We retain information only as long as necessary for service delivery or legal compliance. Under PIPEDA, you have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your data.
